How to enable two-step verification on WhatsApp
Follow the below-given steps to enable two-step verification
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your device.
Step 2: On the home page click on Menu(three dots).
Step 3: From the drop-down option tap on Settings.
Step 4: On the new page select Account.
Step 5: Next tap on Two-step verification.
Step 6: On the two-step verification page tap Enable.
Step 7: On the next screen, enter a six-digit passcode.
Step 8: To confirm it, re-enter the six-digit passcode on the next page.
Step 9: Optionally, you can add your email address on the next screen and confirm it.
Step 10: At last tap on Done.
Your two-step verification has been enabled. Adding an email address on two-step verification will allow WhatsApp to send you a link via email to disable two-step verification in case you ever forget your six-digit PIN, and also to help safeguard your account.
